Very nice hotel with small weaknesses
The St. Regis in New York is a very traditional and beautiful hotel in the heart of Manhattan. These suites are very comfortable, luxurious and spacious. The butler service is also excellent as in other St. Regis hotels. The hotel bar is nice, but has only a limited range of cocktails and drinks. The service in the bar is in need of improvement. One can also do without the legendary Bloody Mary. All in all a very recommendable hotel on a good level.

Excellent Grand Hotel
I think everything’s been written about this hotel. Perfect location on 5th Avenue and not far from Central Park and Rockefeller Center. The reception is friendly and obliging. All concierges are characterized by a good network and excellent knowledge about the city and its possibilities. The butler is on the spot immediately if needed. In a hotel of this category everything should be the same. The barkeeper in the very pleasant King Cole Bar probably had a hangover at 4pm at noon, he presented himself as a typical grumpy New Yorker. That doesn’t have to be in such an establishment. The suites are well cared for and convince by a really good noise reduction for New York conditions. All in all a real Grand Hotel, but sometimes a little bit difficult in important details compared to the Peninsulla on the other side of the street.
